기술영업(TSE)/기술지원(FAE)를 뽑았으며, 최근에는 자사 사이트를 통해 FQE(품질관리)를 채용하기도 했음

며칠전에는 이렇게 링크드인 공고로 채용이 올라오기도 했으니, 잘 살펴볼것. 외국계 회사의 경우 이렇게 링크드인에만 올리고 채용사이트에서는 아무말도 없는 경우가 간혹 있으니, 알림설정을 잘 해두어야한다.

TSE와 FAE모두 고객사대응을 중점으로 하는 듯 보이고, 안타깝게도 RnD 직무는 한국지사에는 없는것으로 생각된다. 직무기술서를 살펴보니, 자동차관련 반도체업무와 가전제품 관련 반도체업무를 맡게 되고, 고객사별로 배치되는 듯하다. 잡플래닛등에서 후기를 살펴보니, 아무래도 한국지사다 보니 본사와 조금 거리감이 있는 느낌이며, 사람수가 제한적이라 업무량이 과다하다고 한다. 그래도 아날로그 반도체 업계 1위인만큼, 다양한 반도체를 만져볼 수 있는 기회가 있을 수 있기에 지원해보고자 한다. 추가적인 정보가 더 나오면 여기에 이어서 적도록 하겠다.

 

FAE 직무 기술서

FAE Responsibilities Include

Upon successful completion of the Field Applications Engineer track, rotators are welcomed as FAEs on TI’s Worldwide Sales & Applications team.

• Using various sales tools and relationships with design engineering to identify all potential projects
• Providing customers with proactive proposals for complete, system-level solutions that maximize TI content
• Using broad technical expertise to influence customers’ part selection process while favorably positioning TI versus competition

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Minimum cumulative 3.0/4.0 GPA
• Basic understanding of schematics, layouts and digital components
• Knowledge and understanding of analog circuitry (examples include: op-amps, DC/DC power, data converters, sensing, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, along with soldering and debugging skills
• Programming skills in C/C++ (LabView recommended)
• Demonstrated strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
• Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery
• Ability to build lasting, influential relationships, both inside and outside the organization
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
• Ability to take initiative and drive for results
• Ability to influence decisions through a sense of urgency and competitive drive
